2.6 Study endpoints and statistical analysis The primary endpoint was a change from pre- to post-treatment patient's sensitivity score (0–10 on a VAS) evaluated at baseline and at 4 weeks for each arm. The secondary endpoint included a change from pre- to posttreatment in the REU score and oral health-related quality of life using the OHIP-14 at baseline and at 4 weeks post-treatment for each arm.
