C. K. Raju’s Biography

After a PhD from the Indian Statistical Institute, C. K. Raju started off as a formal mathematician, teaching advanced calculus (real analysis, functional analysis).

Later, he played a key role in building India’s first supercomputer.

He was an Editorial Fellow of the Project of History of Indian Science Philosophy and Culture. He was a Fellow, and later a Tagore Fellow of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study.

He has authored many scholarly books, advancing revolutionary ideas, some of which have been translated worldwide.

Currently, he is an Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Education.
