2 children in critical condition after fire at Las Vegas apartment

Two children were hospitalized in critical condition late Sunday night after a fire at an apartment complex in the east Las Vegas Valley. Emergency crews responded to reports that several people were trapped in a heavy fire inside two units of a two-story apartment building in the 2600 block of Nellis Boulevard, near Sahara Avenue, at 10:58 p.m., Clark County Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve DePue said in an email.
