Meanwhile, Illinois ranked as the top state for dental health, thanks to fewer residents reporting mouth or tooth pain or sleep disruptions related to oral health over the past year, according to the report.
Gingerbread Fun in Alternative Kindergarten
ATKINS — During the month of December, our AK friends enjoyed a festive gingerbread unit. The devastating consequences of lost dentures
A wise patient once told me, "If it’s not in your face, it’s in a case." I’ve lived by that mantra ever since. Removable dental appliances can become lost for all patients of all demographics, but with vulnerable populations, such as patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), it can lead to devastating consequences. How to tackle the senior oral healthcare crisis
Seniors like Brice face a daunting reality every day. “With no income -- literally zero -- I just could not pay for dental care, so I put it off for years,” says Brice of his experience receiving subsidized dental care after many years of neglect. Entering his 70s, Brice’s oral health was in peril. “The problems I had that were minor four or five years ago became much more serious. I would have lost my teeth instead of fixing them had I waited any longer,” he explained.

Analysis | A guide to the Easter eggs and name-drops on Taylor Swift’s new album
Taylor Swift loves to fill each album with clues and puzzles — “Easter eggs,” as she and her fans call them — for her die-hard followers to decode over the ensuing weeks, months and (let’s be honest) years. Already, her new heartbreak-steeped album “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” has led Swifties to attempt to connect the album’s lyrics to events in the singer’s personal life — a hunt for literalism that Swift does not exactly discourage.
