I had wanted to fly EVA Air for so long. I grew up with a lot of Taiwanese friends so I kept wanting to line up a time when any of them were there but it never materialized. I decided actually to finally go by myself for a trip planned in April 2020 but we all know that the world had different plans. However, I’m glad I was finally able to circle back to it this trip.

Tokyo, Japan (NRT-T1), April 2025 Many Asian airlines’ lounges are on my list of favorites, so I am always excited to experience and revisit any of them whenever I get a chance. I have not flown ANA as much as I have Japan Airlines so this was actually my first time visiting ANA’s lounge at Narita airport. Access The ANA lounge was located by Gate 53 up one level, right by the end of the escalator.

(LAX-NRT), April 2025 I was flying to Japan for my annual Asia trip and was able to snag an ANA business class well in advance. Even though this was on one of the older planes, it was actually my first time flying in these seats and the value redeeming through Virgin Atlantic with a transfer bonus is too good a deal to pass up. Check-In: Since this was the earliest flight of the day, the check-in counter opened exactly 3 hours before my flight’s departure time.
