Flooding and road closures in the Coastal Bend

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Periods of heavy rainfall targeting the areas between Corpus Christi and Houston will continue through Sunday morning. Flooding remains a concern. Remember to turn around and don't drown. In San Patricio County, FM 1944 is closed due to flooding between HWY 77 and FM 1074. This is according to drivetexas.org, a great resource to check before you head out the door. It's also showing flooding between Woodsboro and Bayside in the Bonnie View area of Refugio County.
