1. Introduction The Israeli–Palestinian conflict resulted in the Israeli capture and occupation of several Arab territories, including the West Bank and the small yet densely populated Gaza Strip—now recognized by the United Nations as occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) [1,2]. For close to a century, Palestinians residing in these occupied territories have been experiencing trauma due to war and ongoing political violence [1,3].
