Some are even asking the CMS Board of Education for an audit of how much time is spent using technology each day. “We are stacking screen exposure on top of screen exposure and calling it learning,” said Sherri Bissell, a CMS parent.

Some are even asking the CMS Board of Education for an audit of how much time is spent using technology each day. “We are stacking screen exposure on top of screen exposure and calling it learning,” said Sherri Bissell, a CMS parent. Beyond an audit, the parents want a ban on the i-Ready program.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte leaders are looking to bring back red-light cameras. They’re part of a one-year pilot program aimed at reducing the number of serious crashes in the city. “We have been receiving reports from residents for months that effectively residents are out there running lights and it’s become just regular behavior,” said Charlotte City Council member Dante Anderson.
