My husband John coined the moniker years ago after viewing post-colonoscopy color photos of my rosy-hued large intestine. I've had more colonoscopies than most, because Pinky has IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). IBS-C, to be specific (the "C" stands for constipation). The backed-up bowels seem fitting.

For many years, Carrie thought that her crazy career background made no sense. After working in the fields of interior design, fashion design, college recruiting, human resources, fundraising, image consulting, and many more, Carrie found her way to freelance writing—and everything finally fell into place.
