The Cleveland Orchestra’s latest humanities festival is an opportunity to consider how courage shows up in your life. The centerpiece opera, Beethoven’s “Fidelio,” reminds conductor Franz Welser-Möst how his father participated in a student movement against Hitler, according to the program notes. The first orchestra performance of “Fidelio” is Saturday at 7 p.m. at Severance Music Center. The festival features jazz, poetry and more through next weekend.
