Why did you become a journalist?
I loved my earliest experiences trying, then someone I respected said "you need to be doing this"

Yes. I was a photographer and writer
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story about a student at Sac State who had to watch her home country of Ukraine being destroyed via friend's IG stories
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
TRY. Do something uncomfortable. Do it NOW. Make mistakes. Ask for help
