I write human words for humans first, then search engines. But that's only a small portion of the craft. The idea that a tool could make me write less does not appeal to me at all, because I like writing and I want to go through the painstaking process of getting there. From staring at the blank page too long, meticulously researching and citing correctly, to structuring the article, finding complimentary visuals and finally sprinkling my own words... it's messy yet beautiful and oh so necessary.
