Hair regrowth in endocrine therapy alopecia with dutasteride treatment in woman with estrogen positive breast cancer
Topical minoxidil monotherapy has also been used in several case reports to treat EIA and is the only treatment approved by the FDA for female androgenic alopecia. There is a great need to find safe and effective treatments for endocrine therapy alopecia in women undergoing estrogen-inhibiting therapies for breast cancer. These therapies are long in duration, often taken for 5 to 10 years, and the diffuse hair loss associated with their use can be distressing.

An integrated scalp and blood biomarker approach suggests the systemic nature of alopecia areata
ORIGINAL ARTICLE Jacob W.
Cross-sectional study of blood biomarkers of patients with moderate to severe alopecia areata reveals systemic immune and cardiovascular biomarker dysregulation
Background Although there is increased understanding of the alopecia areata (AA) pathogenesis based on studies in scalp tissues, little is known about its systemic profile. Objective To evaluate the blood proteomic signature of AA and determine biomarkers associated with increased disease severity.
Comparing cutaneous molecular improvement with different treatments in atopic dermatitis patients
To the Editor: AD is a heterogenous disease with primary T Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common inflammatory skin disease that affects up to 10% of adults worldwide.H2/TH22-skewing, and variable TH1/TH17 contribution. Because of its multicytokine nature, many broad-acting and specific systemic and topical treatments were developed targeting certain cytokine pathways, with variable efficacy.
