First Full-Scale Field Band-Gap-Tuning Test of Mass-Tunable Seismic Metasurface: Design and Validation
You are already at the latest version Locally resonant seismic metasurfaces can attenuate surface waves at sub-wavelength scales; however, fixed configurations are unable to adapt to varying site-specific frequency spectra. This paper proposes a mass-tunable spring-mass metasurface that achieves in-situ bandgap reconfiguration by altering the resonator mass.
Thermosensitive Plasmonic Color Enabled by Sodium Metasurface
Abstract Active plasmonic nanostructures have attracted tremendous interest in nanophotonics and metamaterials owing to the dynamically switchable capabilities of plasmonic resonances. In this study, tunable hybrid plasmon resonances (HPR) of sodium metasurfaces through heat-initiated structural transformation is experimentally demonstrated.
