Here, Crain et al. investigated how the immune responses in these individuals differed from those of noncontrollers. They found that HIV-specific CD8+ T cell responses exhibit robust expansion and a stemlike phenotype in individuals who maintained posttreatment control.

On November 24, 2025, a federal judge dismissed the criminal case against former FBI Director James Comey, ruling that the United States attorney who obtained the indictment had been unlawfully appointed. The same day, the judge dismissed the case against New York Attorney General Letitia James for the same reason. Comey and James have argued that they are being prosecuted because President Trump views them as enemies, not because they broke the law.

In October, 2025, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued alerts notifying the public that several ground cinnamon products contained "elevated levels of lead." These announcements were a continuation of alerts the agency has been issuing since last year. In 2024, the agency flagged eleven ground cinnamon products. This year, the FDA has added several more brands to its public health alert, bringing the total to 16 as of October 17, 2025.
