Abstract Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) progresses along a continuum from simple steatosis to steatohepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. However, current clinical and research frameworks rely primarily on static, histology-defined stages that fail to capture the continuous nature of disease progression.

1 Introduction It is acknowledged that people with learning disabilities experience inequalities and social exclusion, often due to inaccessible spaces, services and experiences (Gray and Kerridge 2023; Seale and Nind 2009; Russell 2022). There are many different factors that contribute to whether something may be considered as ‘accessible’ or ‘inaccessible’.

Especially when my grandfather died, an incredibly strong fear of losing that special connection between me and him, made me fixate in treasuring all of those new memories. For example I would start making pictures, videos, writing about it and it just made me stop from enjoying myself and enjoying those around me.
