Seen on the A/W26 runways of Chanel, Prada and Givenchy, what was once a very feminine, formal and traditional jewellery style is now being reimagined for the autumn/winter season. Wearing pearl jewellery doesn’t mean a bold string of gems anymore, they’re being incorporated into a more modern style. The trend is already influencing shoppers, with UK Google searches for ‘pearl jewellery‘ increasing by 64% in the last month.

As a full-time mom to my six-year-old daughter, Celia, while running a busy lifestyle magazine, it feels like my head is always full. Between packing daily lunchboxes, organising weekly activities, planning & managing play dates, and navigating evening routines (all while overseeing an editorial team and a long list of to-dos, articles and clients) the mental load is continuous. Recently though, my mind has been occupied with Celia’s transition from kindergarten to elementary school.

“Nemea was born from a feeling I believe many women quietly share: the desire to travel, but to travel differently,” explains Matskou. “There was something missing between traveling completely alone and traveling in a large, structured group. I wanted to create that space in between—something more intimate, more personal, and more emotionally considered. The destination is the setting. The woman is the protagonist.” The architecture of a true reset relies heavily on group dynamics.
