Manchester City completed the domestic double after beating Brighton 4-0 in the Women's FA Cup final at Wembley. Andree Jeglertz's side had already won the WSL this season - ironically clinched after Brighton drew 1-1 with Arsenal - and have now mirrored their success of 2016, when they last won the FA Cup and league titles. It was Man City's first visit to Wembley since 2022, when they lost to Chelsea in the same competition, while Brighton made history with their first major final appearance.
