Optimization for the Synthesis of Tetrahydrodipyrazolopyridine Conditions The catalytic performance of sulfonated carbon materials was first evaluated under identical reaction conditions (75 °C, 40 min, 20 mg catalyst in water), as summarized in Table 3 . To evaluate the contribution of sulfonic acid groups to the catalytic activity, control materials were prepared under identical conditions but using water instead of sulfuric acid during the functionalization step.
