1 Introduction The growing demand for environmentally sustainable materials and practices has driven the adoption of strategies based on reduction, reuse, and recycling across multiple sectors, particularly in single-use packaging. Most current packaging relies on petro-based materials, which persist in the environment for centuries and contribute significantly to pollution; in 2023, the EU alone generated 79.7 million tons of plastic packaging waste [1].

Stability and potential degradation of the α',β'-Epoxyketone pharmacophore on ZnO nanocarriers: insights from reactive molecular dynamics and density functional theory calculations Cheherazade Trouki, Susanna Monti and Giovanni Barcaro Abstract We investigate the structure and dynamics of a zinc oxide nanocarrier loaded with Carfilzomib, an epoxyketone proteasome inhibitor developed for treating multiple myeloma.
