Chris Michalak, former Senators pitching coach, has accepted a job as Marlins pitching coordinator, according to a person familiar with situation. So that’s why he isn’t back.
The Nats made some changes to their minor league staff, and pitching is the reason. 
I should correct myself — this coaching staff is different by Nats standards, as they don’t make changes often. But generally, similar.
