Wearable abdominal acoustic biofeedback for dietary self-regulation among Taiwanese university students: an exploratory randomized pilot study
Abstract Background: Manual dietary self-monitoring can impose a burden on university students, limiting sustained engagement with digital nutrition tools. AbSound was developed as a wearable abdominal-acoustic biofeedback system that converts candidate gastrointestinal sound events into uncertainty-aware reflective prompts, rather than validated diagnoses of hunger, satiety, dietary intake, diet quality, or eating speed.
The Role of Single-Nucleotide Polymorphisms in Acquired Aplastic Anaemia
1 Introduction Acquired aplastic anaemia (AA) is a bone marrow failure syndrome with a lower prevalence in Western countries such as the UK, Spain and Brazil than in Asian countries, where the prevalence is two to three times higher [1-6]. Patients often have symptoms of pancytopenia with thrombocytopenia, leukopenia and anaemia, accompanied by hypocellular bone marrow without abnormal infiltration or myelofibrosis [7].
Influence of optimizing vibration-reducing measures on the post-earthquake running safety of trains in extradosed cable-stayed bridges
Abstract This study proposes a vibration mitigation scheme for seismic analysis of long-span bridges. Focusing on an extradosed cable-stayed bridge in high-speed railways, it investigates how damping-isolation devices affect both structural seismic responses and train operational safety.
Context-aware digital nutrition and abdominal acoustic feedback in Taiwanese university students: a 12-week single-arm field intervention and a separate 4-week randomized feasibility pilot
Abstract Background: Most digital nutrition tools rely on retrospective meal logging and generic reminders. AbSound adds abdominal acoustic cues intended to support meal-timing reflection and dietary self-regulation. These cues were treated as meal-relevant behavioral proxies, not physiological markers of hunger, satiety, or gastrointestinal motility. We evaluated the platform among Taiwanese university students.

A promising Si-Cr-Nd-C solution system designed for rapid growth of 3C-SiC at a low temperature of 1873 K
A promising Si-Cr-Nd-C solution system designed for rapid growth of 3C-SiC at a low temperature of 1873 K As 3C-SiC can transform to other polytype when the temperature is ≥ 2073 K, the current physical vapor transport (PVT) method can hardly grow wafer-grade 3C-SiC due to its growth temperature is normally ≥2473 K. Therefore, solution growth is considered the most promising approach for the growth of wafer-grade 3C-SiC.
Computational Fluid Dynamics-Discrete Element Method Numerical Investigation of Binary Particle Mixing in Gas-Solid Fluidized Bed with Different Drag Models

Gas–solid two-phase flows within fluidized beds—such as those involved in coal powder combustion, biomass gasification, pyrolysis, and desulfurization—entail the mixing of multi-component particles [1,2]. In coal combustion processes, the interaction between catalyst particles and coal particles is critical for optimizing fluidization behavior and enhancing the combustion efficiency of coal.
