Bittersweet identity and polynomial design: how urban public space makes migrant integration possible
Abstract This paper explores how urban public space mediates migrant integration and belonging through the lens of bittersweet identity and polynomial design. Based on ethnographic approaches in multiple megacity sites, it reveals how migrants’ social identity and place attachment/belonging as place identity and place integration emerge in affective, cognitive, fragmented and sometimes contradictory forms.
Do humans grant moral consideration to anthropomorphic robots?
Abstract As robots are increasingly integrated into daily life, they take on subjective moral roles as agents, patients, or proxies. However, their status as moral patients, meaning entities deserving of moral concern, remains unclear. This study (N = 606) used three experiments to examine how physical anthropomorphism and mind-based anthropomorphism influence moral judgments and decisions regarding harming robots.

Learning to adaptively cooperate through social interactions during childhood and adolescence
Abstract Humans develop the ability to navigate social environments by recognizing others’ behavioral patterns, which evolve across development. We asked how children adapt their learning strategies to opponents in a social dilemma (Chicken game), focusing on trial-by-trial, opponent-sensitive adaptation. Study 1 included preschoolers, while Study 2 examined school-age children and adolescents.

Decoding garden design language via semantic segmentation for social aesthetic interaction
Abstract Understanding how landscape composition relates to aesthetic perception remains a challenge in landscape design research. While semantic segmentation methods have achieved strong performance in scene understanding, they are rarely used to analyze design structure and aesthetic interpretation in garden landscapes.

Transcriptional factor ZMYM3 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis by upregulating CTTN and inducing invadopodia formation - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is characterized by high invasiveness and metastatic potential, leading to poor prognosis. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying HCC invasion and metastasis is essential for developing effective therapeutic strategies. This study investigates the role of ZMYM3 in HCC invasion and metastasis.
Oxytocin-induced modulation of explicit and implicit visual perspective taking - Scientific Reports
Abstract Visual perspective taking (VPT) is a fundamental component of social cognition, allowing individuals to understand environments from diverse viewpoints. Explicit VPT involves deliberately adopting another person’s perspective, whereas implicit VPT reflects the incidental influence of others’ viewpoints when responding from one’s own.

1 Visual Research Methods for Child Perception, Multimodal AI, and Ethics Visual research methods offer an effective approach to capturing children's unique ways of seeing the world including ‘invisible’ places they create and use (Antona 2019). These methods enable researchers to examine child health and well-being from a fresh perspective whilst allowing children to express their perceptions beyond verbal communication (Einarsdottir et al. 2009).

Entering‐In, Tuning‐In: Linking Urban Public Space and Migrant Integration From a Place and Design Perspective
1 Introduction Today’s urban challenges especially in developing countries, population explosion and human mobility (Cohen 2006) lead to concerns on migrants’ lives and civil rights, where ‘migrant integration’ is a keyword linked to newcomers’ settlement with urban life as ‘a generic process of creating long-and short-term arrangements between an immigrant group and the host society’ (Anisef and Lanphier 2003: 5).

The Ubiquitin Ligase RBX2/SAG Regulates Mitochondrial Ubiquitination and Mitophagy
Abstract Clearance of damaged mitochondria via mitophagy is crucial for cellular homeostasis. While the role of ubiquitin (Ub) ligase PARKIN in mitophagy has been extensively studied, increasing evidence suggests the existence of PARKIN-independent mitophagy in highly metabolically active organs such as the heart. Here, we identify a crucial role for Cullin-RING Ub ligase 5 (CRL5) in basal mitochondrial turnover in cardiomyocytes.

Effect of annealing time and molecular weight on melt memory of random ethylene 1‐butene copolymers
The effects of annealing time and molecular weight on the strong melt memory effect observed in random ethylene 1‐alkene copolymers are analyzed in a series of model ethylene 1‐butene copolymers with 2.2 mol% branches. Melt memory is associated with molten clusters of ethylene sequences from the initial crystals that remain in close proximity and are unable to diffuse quickly to the randomized melt state, thus increasing the recrystallization rate.
