Histone H4K5 lactylation-driven feedback loop modulates glycerol-linked immunosuppressive activity of tumor-associated T regulatory cells
Abstract Tumor metastasis is the leading cause of death for more than 90% of cancer patients, with colorectal cancer (CRC) mainly spreading to the liver. The colon and liver possess distinct nutritional microenvironments, yet how these differences shape the tumor immune landscape remains unclear. Using single-cell analysis of autologous samples from CRC patients with liver metastases, we identified a distinct CD177+GK+ regulatory T (Treg) cell subset in metastatic lesions.
Creep Failure and Pyrolysis Damage Mechanism of CFRP Under Thermo-Mechanical Coupling
1 Introduction CFRP has been widely utilized in aerospace and other industries due to their advantages such as high specific strength, high specific stiffness, and corrosion resistance. However, their thermo-mechanical coupling failure characteristics under fire conditions, particularly the degradation of mechanical properties under the combined effects of heat conduction, convection, and radiation, remain a significant challenge in engineering applications.

Predicting droplet evolution in material jetting, or Inkjet Printing (IJP), is essential for maintaining printing quality. However, long-horizon forecasts remain challenging due to error accumulation and the complex coupling of process variables. In this work, we introduce the Diffusion-corrected Auto-Regressive Fourier Neural Operator (DiffARFNO), a two-stage framework that combines an autoregressive Fourier-MIONet with a conditional Denoising Diffusion Implicit Model (DDIM) corrector.
Impact of hospital safety-net status on in-hospital and short-outcomes after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Abstract Safety-net hospitals (SNHs) cater to the medical needs of underserved populations, but their impact on the outcomes of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) remains unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between safety-net status and posttransplant outcomes using the National Readmission Database (NRD), including in-hospital mortality, in-hospital complications, and readmission. This was a retrospective cohort study.
Lactylation at lysine 145 fosters KAT8-TIP60 complex formation to promote p53 acetylation at lysine 120 and its pro-apoptotic function
Abstract p53 is crucial for cellular functions and disease mechanisms, yet effective clinical strategies targeting it remain challenging. Lactylation has emerged as a key factor in understanding disease pathology and offering therapeutic options. Herein, we identify lactylated KAT8 at lysine 145 (K145) as a modulator of p53 activity. GCN5 and SIRT6 function as the acyltransferase and delactylase for KAT8, respectively.

An endogenous aryl hydrocarbon receptor ligand induces preeclampsia‐like phenotypes in rats
Introduction Preeclampsia (PE) is a hypertensive disorder which poses a major risk to both mothers and fetuses during human pregnancy (Rana et al., 2019; Roberts et al., 2021). Beside inducing vascular dysfunction in mothers, PE also impairs fetal vascular functions (Rana et al., 2019). Specifically, PE reduces fetal blood flow and increases vascular resistance and vascular permeability in the placenta (Khankin et al., 2010).

Patients with AL-alone harboring t(11;14) had a lower rate of hematologic response (≥ VGPR) to first-line treatment compared with patients who did not (64.0% vs. 81.0%, p = 0.043). Whereas, for patients with MM-AL, no significant difference in ≥ VGPR rate between t(11;14)-negative and -positive groups was observed (63.2% vs. 46.7%, p = 0.247).

Mutant KRAS-activated circATXN7 fosters tumor immunoescape by sensitizing tumor-specific T cells to activation-induced cell death - Nature Communications
Abstract Mutant KRAS (KRASMUT) is often exploited by cancers to shape tumor immunity, but the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. Here we report that tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) from KRASMUT cancers are sensitive to activation-induced cell death (AICD). circATXN7, an NF-κB-interacting circular RNA, governs T cell sensitivity to AICD by inactivating NF-κB.

An Endogenous Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Ligand Induces Preeclampsia-like Phenotypes: Transcriptome, Phosphoproteome, and Cell Functions
Abstract BACKGROUND: Preeclampsia (PE) is one hypertensive disorder and a leading cause of maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity during human pregnancy. Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a transcription factor, which regulates vascular development and functions. Exogenous and endogenous AhR ligands can induce hypertension in animals. However, if dysregulation of endogenous AhR ligands contributes to the pathophysiology of PE remains elusive.
The loss of neoantigens is an important reason for immune escape in multiple myeloma patients with high intratumor heterogeneity
1 INTRODUCTION Intratumor heterogeneity (ITH) is the result of constant mutations in tumor development, resulting in internal biological behavior and gene diversity.1, 2 High ITH is considered to be a marker of poor prognosis and is closely associated with drug resistance and immune escape in patients.1, 3-5 Immunotherapy plays an important role in antitumor therapy.

Local resonance bandgap control in a particle-aligned magnetorheological metamaterial - Communications Materials
Abstract Stimuli-responsive elastic metamaterials augment unique subwavelength features and wave manipulation capabilities with a degree of tunability, which enables them to cut across different time scales and frequency regimes. Here, we present an experimental framework for robust local resonance bandgap control enabled by enhanced magneto-mechanical coupling properties of a magnetorheological elastomer, serving as the resonating stiffness of a metamaterial cell.

Sub-Pixel Surface Water Mapping for Heterogeneous Areas from Sentinel-2 Images: A Case Study in the Jinshui Basin, China
1. Introduction Urban and suburban surface water bodies, including lakes, rivers, small reservoirs, fishponds, on-farm reservoirs, and paddy fields, are crucial natural resources. As such, it is important for water resource assessment and for agricultural and irrigation management to accurately monitor and map these surface water bodies to understand their spatial extent and temporal dynamics [1].
