Chloe Adams’s Biography

Chloe Adams is a general assignment reporter for ABC News 13 WLOS in Asheville, NC.

She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Boston University. There, she was one of 20 admitted graduate students who received BU’s College of Communication's most prestigious Excellence in Communication 2024-2025 merit scholarship.

During her master’s program, Chloe was a multimedia journalist for Boston Neighborhood Network, a cable station reaching more than 150,000 household viewers. She researched, pitched, wrote, filmed and edited stories that spotlighted underrepresented communities in the area.

She interned for multiple news leaders while living in the city, including Boston’s ABC affiliate WCVB Channel 5 and WHDH 7 News Boston. At these stations, industry experts showed her the ropes and offered her mentorship.

Chloe has also worked in the backend of newsrooms. As a former digital intern for PBS affiliate GBH News, a programming distributor of National Public Radio in Boston, she wrote social media copy and managed a social media campaign. Chloe briefly worked as a news writer for iHeartMedia’s WBZ News Radio, an all-news format radio station that covers news in Boston and other major national headlines.

In her free time, Chloe loves spending time with family, catching up with friends and exploring new places.
