Pop superstar Katy Perry has been presented with a fiery portrait with a twist. The portrait, created by Welsh artist Nathan Wyburn , is made using thousands of matches and was given to Perry during a recent meeting. Mr Wyburn, from Ebbw Vale, crafted the piece in tribute to Perry's new song 'Watch It Burn'. Perry was visibly impressed with the design and asked: "Can I burn it?" Katherine Jenkins has paid a special visit to HMS Cardiff, touring the Royal Navy warship as it continues to be built at Scotstoun on the River Clyde. The Welsh mezzo-soprano, who serves as the ship's sponsor, toured the Type 26 frigate at the BAE Systems yard in Scotstoun, where it is being completed. Wearing a hard hat, overalls, and a high-visibility jacket, Ms Jenkins was shown around the 8,000-tonne anti-submarine vessel. Singer Katherine Jenkins has visited her namesake warship, HMS Cardiff.
