SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - Skies have started to clear out this Friday afternoon and we have a beautiful weekend ahead! After a gray start to the day, things have gotten noticeably brighter as we close out the day. We should keep that going for the next several days, but our next round of heat is ahead next week, so enjoy the more pleasant conditions while we have them.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - Rain finally returned to Mid-Michigan last night for some, with more today for many others. Our severe weather threat is pretty low, though not completely off the table as storms move through this evening. Thankfully, we should be able to sleep soundly tonight as the threat is expected to end early.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - It’s been a hot, but sunny Wednesday around Mid-Michigan, but our next chance of rain arrives soon. We should stay dry most of the evening ahead of midnight, but a cold front moving into the region will bring chances for showers and storms through tonight and Thursday. While our severe chance is low, some areas may pick up some locally heavy rainfall.
