Hello friends! My Wife and I are planning on a trip to Hawaii April 30 - May 8, 2027. While we are there, I want to meet with good people and begin building a future for our family here. Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated. People to talk with, cities to see, things to explore. Recommendations on places to look into for our STR and LTR investments, suggestions on places to avoid, etc. would be incredibly helpful. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm posting here looking for opportunities to pick up extra work outside of my full time job, helping with fix and flips, maintenance, etc. in Salt Lake County. I'm working to secure a duplex for my family and I to move into and I want to contribute to the success of others while I'm working to create my own. I have a good collection of tools and skills and I'm willing to learn more as often as I can to be more resourceful to business partners.

I know a lot of people would advise otherwise, but we're looking at a situation where this is the best option I can see. My wife and I currently rent and have been in our apartment for nine years. We have a 17 year old son who has cystic fibrosis. We're working to secure a duplex with my cousin who owns his house free and clear and runs an air bnb out of the bottom half. The four of us are looking to buy a duplex where three of us will live on one side and one of us on the other.
