7artisans has been teasing the launch of a new lens – and I have been trying to work out what it is from the limited information provided by the silhouetted image and the Chinese writing. The first thing that's clear is that this will be second lens in 7artisan's MAX range. The first was the AF 135mm f/1.8 Max – a fast, metal-bodied autofocus prime for Sony, Nikon, and L-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras.

Leica SL3-P review: A minimalist full-frame mirrorless camera with machismo

In terms of resolution, it takes a middle ground between the existing Leica SL3 and SL3-S – offering a BSI sensor with a 44MP resolution (compared to the 60MP and 24MP of its siblings). It is a sensor that we believe has been used on the Panasonic S1R II, which offers a similar specification, but with some significant differences. But what does this camera actually deliver?
