LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a 67-year-old at-risk man who was reported missing in Highland Park. James Curtis was last seen at around noon June 9 near Figueroa Street and South Avenue 60, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert. Man Found Shot To Death On Downtown LA Sidewalk

LOS ANGELES, CA — An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death on a downtown Los Angeles sidewalk early Friday morning. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at around 2:30 a.m. Friday to the 1200 block of South Hope Street, several blocks east of the Crypto.com Arena, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman. Arriving officers found the victim face down on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, KTLA reported.
