During his second term, Trump has promised $12,000 in dividend or rebate payouts, including the one he made at the Republicans’ first-ever convention in the middle of a presidential term. “If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000,” Trump said during the convention.
