Airra Labs just introduced what it claims is the world's first "Rotary Mouse." Airra's Rotary Mouse looks like a standard modern wireless mouse except for its scroll wheel, which uses a six-segmented rotary wheel in lieu of a traditional scroll wheel. Scroll wheels have remained largely unchanged for the past few decades. While gaming mice eventually received "infinite" scroll wheels, that just allowed the wheel to spin freely without any tactile click.

Nightmare-Eclipse Drops Another BitLocker Bypass After YellowKey Patch

Cybersecurity researcher and current Microsoft nemesis, Nightmare-Eclipse, has released a new pair of zero-day Windows exploits following this week's Patch Tuesday, which had patched the last of Eclipse's initial six zero-days. The new exploits are called "RoguePlanet," which corresponds to a Windows Defender vulnerability, and "GreatXML," which corresponds to a BitLocker bypass vulnerability.

Framework Laptop 13 Pro Runs Into Delay Over Two Key Defects

In an email to those who pre-ordered the Framework Laptop 13 Pro, Framework has confirmed that the first shipments originally planned for late June have slipped to "late July, with risk of some units in early August." This delay is being done to address two key defects on the laptop's screen and haptic touchpad, rather than anything relating to the current memory and NAND shortages, and Framework is also offering a full refund on pre-orders for those unhappy with the delay.
