Incumbents Annemarie Garcia and Sid Burke, whose three-year terms expire next month, also filed nominating papers prior to the deadline. Last year, incumbents Natalie Marrero, Will Treves and Jackie DeAngelis ran unopposed. Alves serves as the principal at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, NY.

Categories: Pelham School Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Champ announced this morning that she has selected Jennifer Mangone of the Somers Middle School to become the next principal of Siwanoy Elementary School. In a message to the district community this morning, Champ wrote that she will recommend Mangone for the position at tonight’s meeting of the Pelham Board of Education.
