Passion for telling stories overtook perfect pitch/music study. Also, inability to grit teeth through 1 more kid mangling "Camptown Races"

Yes, I was a reporter and assistant editor.

"From Chaos to Courage," the story of the passengers and crew of United Flight 93.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Work hard. Pray hard. Tell the truth. Be curious. Avoid capture. Watch "Almost Famous" often, & listen to Lester Bangs. Love every minute.
