What was your first job as a journalist?

Working as a freelance photographer for the Mayville News in Mayville, Wis. when I was in high school.

Yes.

Everything needs to be posted as soon as humanly possible.

J. Jonah Jameson publisher of The Daily Bugle. "I NEED MORE SPIDERMAN PHOTOS!!!"

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It is a fantastic way to have a strong connection to the community that you work in and serve.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Via email.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Canon digital cameras and lenses. Adobe Creative Suite. Photo Mechanic Pro. Google apps. DJI drones and gimbals.

Riding my bike in the most remote place possible at the time.
