Trailing their Eastern counterparts by one point heading into the final day of the tournament, the West dominated the singles match play format to take the overall win by 14.5 points to 9.5 points.

National Team Racing Championships honours up for grabs

Bragging rights will be up for grabs when the inaugural Bermuda Team Racing National Championships takes centre stage in Hamilton Harbour today. Three talented and experienced teams, comprised of two boats per team with a crew of three or four sailors, will compete for honours in the J80 class. The two versus two team racing format will consist of one or more round robins, with the top two teams advancing to a first to three wins final.

Spectators were kept on the edge of their seats as some of the island's top players produced magnificent golf as they battled it out in the fou -ball (best ball) format under sunny skies at the Devonshire golf course.
