Social media has changed the game of reporting, in great and awful ways. The great ways: speed to news, finding sources, and background.

When discussing custom content, I prefer to let my team do the talking, and helping the client find their best solutions.

Facebook for fun, LinkedIn for work

What's your favorite drink?

I'm a beer snob, so much so that I've written columns on the subject for Townsquare Media.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Swimming at the Jersey Shore

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That it can be dull. Science, and medicine, are fascinating!
