Alex Soros’s Group Accuses Taylor Swift of Anti-Semitism After She Criticizes His Family
Bend the Arc: Jewish Action, a 501(c)(4) progressive advocacy organization best known for accusing the Republican Party of anti-Semitism, is now accusing Taylor Swift of spreading anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and using anti-Semitic dog whistles after she criticized the organization’s founding board chair, Alex Soros. Swift’s Instagram Post Swift recently criticized the “Soros family” for its involvement in her very public and very confusing dispute with Scooter Braun and Big Machine Records.
IREHR Is Tracking You-Confirming Its Totalitarian Tendencies
The Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights (IREHR) has become even more Orwellian: Now the organization promises to track its critics on social media. Last month, the Capital Research Center published a piece highlighting IREHR’s “Trepper” app, which is meant to document and report what the organization considers biased incidents.
More Speech, Not Less
Modern reliance on technology has never been more evident than now. During the COVID-19 pandemic, modern technological advances have gone from conveniences to life-saving resources. But not for everyone. For people banned from tech platforms, the potential emergency resources these platforms provide are out of reach. Banned from Twitter? Reduced access to breaking news. Banned from Uber Eats? Good luck getting food while maintaining social distancing recommendations.

The Pro-Antifa Nonprofit Doxxing Conservatives
For the past two decades, a small, little-known nonprofit has been acting as an arm of Antifa. The One People’s Project (OPP), described as the “antifa CIA,” regularly attacks enemies deemed “fascist” by posting their personal information, targeting their employment, and intimidating them at events across the country. OPP is operated by Daryle Lamont Jenkins and a band of volunteers.
Trepper: The “Anti-Bigotry” App That Uses Artificial Intelligence to Identify “White Nationalists”
A nonprofit organization claims to have created a phone app that uses artificial intelligence to identify people the group believes to be “known white nationalists.” Of course, the organization considers people and organizations to be white nationalists even if they’re just regular conservatives—and even if they’re not white.
Soros and Clinton Want Facebook to Censor Conservatives
Billionaire financier George Soros recently published an opinion piece in the New York Times accusing Facebook CEO and cofounder Mark Zuckerberg of trying to help President Donald Trump win reelection in 2020. Coincidentally, Soros echoed sentiments expressed by Hillary Clinton, Trump’s 2016 rival, in an interview with the Atlantic just days earlier.
Libertarians: You Can Have Opinions
If you spend any time reading the blogs authored by college-aged libertarian students, you are bound to read articles addressing their love for promiscuity, drug usage, and obscene alternative lifestyles for the sake of being alternative. The common argument these libertarians make is that their choices fall under the category of being “subjective values”; therefore, it is wrong to make any moral judgments condemning their actions.
“Woke” Household Names Supporting the Women’s March
Earlier this month, the Women’s March convened in Washington, DC, and across the country for the third year in a row. The Washington Post reported organizers in the District anticipated three to five thousand marchers, down from the approximately 500,000 who marched on the city in 2017. While support for the Women’s March has waned over the years, the march still boasts about its “brand partners,” which include many household names—many with their own radical politics.
Fact-Checking the Women’s March “Purge” of Anti-semitic Leaders
Dozens of news organizations spread the misleading, false narrative that the Women’s March purged key board members following controversial anti-Semitic comments and support for the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan.

I Was Banned From Twitter for Criticizing Ian Miles Cheong - And I’m Not The Only One
Last week, I published a piece detailing Ian Miles Cheong’s history of flip-flopping and grifting. The piece also highlighted the lengths Ian will go to in order to settle a personal vendetta, even endangering the lives of his former business partners and friends. The weapon Ian uses most often is his ability to mass report people on Twitter. If his opponents are banned, they are unable to criticize him. Multiple people have claimed Ian knows someone who is on Twitter’s staff.
Ian Miles Cheong Is A Monster
Within the past few months, Ian Miles Cheong has ingratiated himself into mainstream conservative circles. Currently as the managing editor of the rebooted Human Events website, Ian’s tweets are now getting the attention of American politicians, such as former ambassador and governor Nikki Haley.

In November, U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) introduced the People’s Justice Guarantee, her radical criminal justice bill that would abolish life sentences and place maximum caps on all prison sentences, among other reforms. The ACLU and the Boston chapter of Black and Pink have already endorsed the bill.
"The SPLC has completely lost its mind (more than usual). It saw a photo of me during Purim--which is a Jewish holiday--at an AEPI house host […]"
We all know the #UndemocraticElectoralCollege is unfair and unrepresentative. But in real life, because of voting blocks, it ends up that a few swing states deciding who is president. Listen to Google’s Explanation for Banning CRC’s Ad
As reported last week in the Daily Caller, Google recently rejected a YouTube advertisement for a Capital Research Center video about environmental extremism. Google’s defense at the time was that advertisements cannot allegedly link to content that is critical of someone—even if that content was criticizing a serial killer. Google has since reversed its decision.

SPLC Causes Cancelation of ACT for America’s Anti-Terrorism Event at Mar-a-Lago
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has so much power it can even pressure President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago to cancel an event hosted by some of the president’s most ardent supporters. The SPLC’s “Hatewatch” broke the news that ACT for America was originally planning on hosting an event at Mar-a-Lago on November 7.
Donations to Jewish Never Again Action Went to Southeast Asian Group
Donations to Never Again Action, the Jewish anti-ICE organization famous for drawing comparisons between immigration policy and the Holocaust, previously went to an explicitly Southeast Asian organization and an organization dedicated to defending illegal immigration, rather than any Jewish causes. According to the previous “donate” page for Never Again Action, donations through the organization’s website did not explicitly support Never Again Action itself.

Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) are soliciting contributions to the bail fund for individuals who were arrested while protesting Boston’s Straight Pride Parade on Saturday. Four police officers were injured as a result of actions by the counter-demonstrators, which included Antifa supporters.
The Media’s Mainstreaming of Left-Wing Violence
While President Trump is often under fire for his rebukes of the press, some left-wing journalists and activists have recently tried to normalize violence against right-wing personalities even praised a domestic terrorist. An upswing of violence against right-wingers started in the United Kingdom in May, with the act of “milkshaking.” Tommy Robinson, former English Defense League founder turned controversial journalist, was pelted with two milkshakes in two days.
Washington, D.C. Honors Editor of Farrakhan’s Newspaper
The Washington, D.C. government and a member of Congress recently honored a photojournalist and radio show host who works as the senior editor for the Nation of Islam’s The Final Call and frequently features Louis Farrakhan on his radio show. Recently, he has shared tweets praising Farrakhan’s book, The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, which blames Jews for the slave trade, and content from a famous Holocaust denier.
Big Tech and the Threat of “Unpersoning”
This article is the first in a CRC online symposium about the influence Silicon Valley exerts in public discourse. There is a meme circulating on Twitter that claims, “Your Amazon Smart Refrigerator has denied you access to your groceries due to you visiting Infowars.com.” While the idea seems laughably absurd on the surface, the truth is that tech tyrants have created a precedent of “unpersoning” people for political views by cutting them off from the rest of modern society.
Sen. Cory Booker Asked for Support from Pro-Farrakhan Group For Reparations Bill
New Jersey senator and Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker has been embroiled in controversy over comments he made about the possibility of meeting with Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Louis Farrakhan. However, the senator’s ties to Farrakhan appear to go deeper than previously known; in fact, Booker seems to have recently sent a letter asking for support from a pro-reparations group that honored Farrakhan this week and is deeply tied to the anti-Semitic, racist NOI leader.
Anti-Semitism at the #DCDykeMarch?
Last week, the DC Dyke March, an event for lesbians, made national headlines when the organizers announced they were banning the Jewish Pride flag because it too closely resembles the Israeli flag. This led to condemnation from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and prompted the National LGBTQ Task Force to pull its support from the march. Now, after the event, the group is apologizing for the “misinformation” that allegedly led people to falsely believe the Star of David was banned.
Biden Salutes Radical Campus Group In Campaign Announcement
Joe Biden’s official 2020 presidential campaign announcement video features a radical University of Virginia group that calls civility “tyranny” and claims “Cops and the Klan go hand in hand.” The group responded to Biden including its sign in his campaign ad by claiming he is “no better than the white supremacist who terrorized Charlottesville.” Biden’s advertisement was largely centered around the 2017 Charlottesville protests.
Former CNN Contributor Speaks at Terror-Linked Event
In March, former CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill was the keynote speaker at an event hosted by American Muslims for Palestine, the leading boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) organization in America, which has ties to groups that have funded Hamas. He spoke alongside two of the “unindicted co-conspirators” in a case involving domestic funding of Hamas.
Liberals in San Francisco Eat their Own Over Israel
To activists in the Mission District of San Francisco, it doesn’t matter if your liberal credentials include working in President Obama’s administration and for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign: if you support Israel, you’re not welcome and your business deserves to be destroyed. Manny’s, a restaurant, café, and community space hybrid has been facing weekly protests because of the owner’s support for Israel.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s Staff Has “No Comment” After She Unfollows Anti-Semitic Instagram Page
On Friday, the Capital Research Center (CRC) exposed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) who was following an inflammatory anti-Semitic Instagram account. Tlaib’s communications director told CRC the office has “no comment” on the matter.

Leftist Groups Distance Themselves from Discredited Women’s March
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is one of the latest high-profile groups to have seemingly pulled its support for the Women’s March in advance of the group’s annual major demonstration in the nation’s capital scheduled for January 19. Women’s March Inc., the corporate parent of the demonstration, is still facing controversy surrounding its board members, their continued refusal to condemn Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Louis Farrakhan, and new charges of anti-Semitism.

Why Does PETA Take Cues from SJWs?
Earlier this month, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) caused a stir on Twitter when the organization suggested alternatives to common idioms to stop people from using allegedly “anti-animal language.” Taking a cue from the successful movements on college campuses to police speech under the guise of social justice, PETA encouraged people to “remove speciesism” from their vernacular to help promote social justice—towards animals.

Instead of supporting the U.S.’s ally in the Middle East, they are announcing their support for the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement, openly condemning Israel, and calling for the rest of the Democratic Party to join them.
Caving to BDS Activism, Airbnb Pulls West Bank Listings
Last week, Airbnb announced that it would be removing all listings from Israeli settlements in the West Bank. The news came after supporters of the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement campaigned for Airbnb to remove the listings. In a press release on its website detailing how the company will deal with “listings in disputed regions,” Airbnb focused explicitly on homes rented out in the Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
Policing Pronouns: Twitter’s Updated Hateful Conduct Policy
Last month, Twitter quietly expanded its policy devoted to combating “hateful conduct” by adding a prohibition on “misgendering” or “deadnaming” transgender users on its platform. According to Twitter, the site takes particular care to enforce its “hateful conduct policy” against people who allegedly malign “historically marginalized” groups, such as transgender people.
Women’s March Leadership Shows Schism Over Anti-Semitism
On Monday, Teresa Shook, the original founder of the Women’s March, called for the current leadership of the group to resign in light of their refusal to distance themselves from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. In response, the Women’s March leaders and the official organization have condemned Shook for wanting to claim “credit” for the work of “women of color” and have trivialized her concerns because of her race.
Women’s March Leaders Fail to Disavow Farrakhan
Last week, the Women’s March attempted to, yet again, downplay its leaders’ past praise of Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader known for his anti-Semitic comments. In an effort to save the movement’s reputation, the group tried to portray the push for a condemnation of Farrakhan as an attack on left-wing politics.

Censorious Jewish Voice for Peace Shows Its True Colors at NYU
Yet another planned college talk by controversial speaker Milo Yiannopoulos has been postponed due to alleged safety concerns; this time, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio personally put pressure on New York University (NYU). Before NYU succumbed to de Blasio’s demand, one of the groups calling for the event’s cancelation was the NYU chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), which tarred Yiannopoulos as an anti-Semite, despite the group’s own problems with exacerbating anti-Semitism.
A Very Special Birthday Week!
June is always an eventful month with four birthdays taking place in my family all in a week. This year ‘birthday week’ was even more special than usual. If you were following my social media posts, you may already know why! I was lucky enough to be selected by Ford Canada as one of 50 bloggers to participate in the #GoFurther150 program in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.
Online media declaring war on conservative speech: Report
August 29, 2018 (NewsBusters) – Like it or not, social media is the communication form of the future – not just in the U.S., but worldwide. Just Facebook and Twitter combined reach 1.8 billion people. More than two-thirds of all Americans (68 percent) use Facebook. YouTube is pushing out TV as the most popular place to watch video. Google is the No. 1 search engine in both the U.S. and the world. War is being declared on the conservative movement in this space and conservatives are losing – badly.
Trump Administration ‘Taking a Look’ at Regulating Google

On Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted that Google may be engaging in an “illegal” practice by how it ranks search results. Trump said: Google search results for ‘Trump News’ shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake News Media.
New Facebook Marketing Chief Backed Dems, Like Predecessor
Facebook has announced its new incoming chief marketing officer, Antonio Lucio. Lucio will be replacing Gary Briggs who, in January, said he would be leaving after four and a half years to pursue advisory work--and to help the Democrats in the midterms and through 2020. Like his predecessor, Lucio has also indicated he supports Democrats. Nearly all of Lucio’s donations went to business groups tied to where he worked at the time.
ACLU Cautions Against Social Media Censorship
The ACLU is seemingly concerned about social media censorship. In his conversation with HuffPost, the director of the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project, Ben Wizner, drew parallels to how the situation might play out if the government were in charge of determining what is considered hate speech. “If [Attorney General] Jeff Sessions, for example, were deciding what’s hate speech, he would be less likely to think KKK and more likely to think [Black Lives Matter],” he explained.
