Model-free Feature Screening and False Discovery Control for High-dimensional Quantile Regressions
Abstract High-dimensional quantile regressions are powerful tools for capturing the diverse relationships between predictors and response variables across different quantile levels. However, existing feature screening methods for quantile regressions often rely on restrictive model assumptions, limiting their applicability in complex data settings.
Association between nocturia frequency and depression in adults: evidence from NHANES 2021–2023 and a Chinese exploratory cohort
Abstract Background: Nocturia and depression commonly coexist and may share underlying pathways. We examined the cross-sectional association between nocturia frequency and clinically relevant depressive symptoms. Methods: We analyzed 4,162 adults from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2021–2023. Nocturia was categorized as 0, 1, 2, or ≥3 voids/night; a Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) score ≥10 defined clinically relevant depressive symptoms.
Gas hydrate reservoir quality enhanced by framboidal pyrite formation
Abstract Gas hydrate enrichment mechanisms and reservoir characteristics are crucial for understanding their resource potential and role in the global carbon cycle. Traditional models emphasize coarse-grained sediments as primary hosts for hydrates, but recent studies show significant accumulations also occur in fine-grained systems. However, the influence of authigenic minerals, particularly porous framboidal pyrite, on reservoir properties in such settings remains poorly understood.
Cost‑effective offshore carbon capture, utilization and storage deployment and transport network optimization in southern China
Abstract High-emission, high-economic-density coastal regions require viable pathways to reach net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. Here we develop a phased deployment framework for offshore carbon capture, utilization and storage in southern China.

Optimal parameter selection for the THz-CCS system based on an incoherent light source
Terahertz cross correlation spectroscopy (THz-CCS) systems using broadband incoherent light as the pumping source have received increasing attention from researchers in recent years. However, a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of THz-CCS is still needed to obtain a detailed optimization scheme. Here we systematically investigate the influences of the detection parameters, light propagation process, and pump source on the CCS signals.

Ultrapure blue organic light-emitting diodes exhibiting 13-nm full width at half-maximum
Ultrapure blue organic light-emitting diodes exhibiting 13-nm full width at half-maximum Introducing two mesityl groups to the rigid and planar molecule dibenzo[2,3:5,6]pyrrolizino[1,7-bc]indolo[1,2,3-lm]carbazole successfully suppressed the aggregation-induced redshift and broadening in the emission spectra, enabling the new emitter mMes2DICz to be a promising electroluminescent material combining saturated blue emission, nearly 100% quantum efficiency, and a reduced blue-light hazard.
