LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Crews with the Lexington Fire Department had a busy morning in Lexington amid flash flooding that led to multiple people escaping vehicles, with one of them being helped by a kayaker. Just before 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22, officials with the Lexington Fire Department told FOX 56 News that crews had been sent to Old Harrodsburg Road near South Elkhorn Village for a rescue operation.
