Although the terms of the deal were not announced, BlackBerry spokeswoman Karen Clyne noted "We have resolved our disputes pursuant to a confidential agreement and have no further comment".

CrackBerry — Following a report from The Globe and Mail stating that BlackBerry had sold off 90 key smartphone technology patents to Huawei, BlackBerry CFO Steve Rai confirmed the deal yesterday during a JP Morgan virtual investor conference. According to the US Patent and Trademark Office, ownership of the patents was transferred to Huawei on December 23rd.
