To help keep a democracy in America. To help keep people honest. To help share stories of the human spirit.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Straight-forward with the facts, who, what where and when.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
HD camera, Final Cut Pro, AVID news, Twitter, Facebook, smart phone and Golden Gate Weather web site for all my forecasting short cuts.
What's your favorite social network?
I'm an equal opportunity man with it comes to technology and social media.

Why did you become a journalist?
I grew up watching and reading news, especially Peter Jennings
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Unfortunately we did not have one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I work hard on all my stories and I forecast on my own, no "rip and read" here.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Follow your gut and trust your instinct, but always check and double check your work... always remember, your name is on it!
