What was your first job as a journalist?
My first professional experience was as a freelance journalist for Capitol Weekly.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means providing your audience with the information they need in their lives.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Building a complete multi-media package covering a Pete Buttigieg rally.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
To routinely stay all night on campus to cover the nightlife, there was none.
What's your favorite drink?
Shirley Temple with plenty of cherries.
