A New York Times column from February titled “The Television Show Every American Should Watch” deconstructed HBO’s critically acclaimed poster child, "The Pitt," claiming the show is a direct reflection of the current state of our chaotic country.

In the 2024 presidential race, President Trump ran on an affordability campaign, stressing the importance of bringing the cost of living down from where it was during the Biden administration. Trump understood that Americans were fed up with the political elites who controlled Washington during the administration prior and that the average citizen's trust in Congress was plummeting rapidly.

In January, citizens led one of the largest civilian protests in Iran’s history, calling for changes in the current regime's control of the state. The people of Iran protested primarily for a change to the current Islamic dictatorship, as well as economic justice by storming the streets of Tehran, ultimately forcing a reaction from their government due to the sheer size of the protest.
