Currently, the Internet of Things (IoT) has developed rapidly and is widely used in agriculture, industry, medicine and other fields, helping to improve crop production, manufacturing efficiency, and protect patients’ health. Every day, hundreds of millions of IoT devices around the world generate massive amounts of data, which is stored on the local or cloud.

1 Introduction In recent years, the rapid growth of population, accelerated industrialization, and excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides have resulted in numerous adverse effects on the water quality of lakes. As a consequence, local lake environments are facing serious deterioration in water quality and eutrophication issues (e.g., Liu et al., 2019; Liang et al., 2021).
