Visible light induced β-C(sp2)-H alkylsulfonylation of enamides with phenyliodine(III) dicarboxylates and DABCO-(SO2)2
The sulfone groups play a significant role in many bioactive and pharmacological active compounds, synthetic drugs, as well as advanced functional materials [1]. In particular, vinyl sulfones and β-amidosulfones have attracted widespread attention as they are crucial building blocks in numerous natural products and bioactive molecules [2]. On the other hand, enamides, as stable congeners of enamines, serve as important synthetic intermediates to prepare natural products and pharmaceuticals [3].
Cascade piezocatalytic nanoprodrug for synergistic piezocatalytic therapy and sono-activated chemotherapy-augmented immunotherapy
Immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) has shown the high potential in treating various cancers [1], [2]. However, only a small number of patients profit from this treatment strategy [3]. The effectiveness of this strategy in other patients is hampered by the “cold” tumor characteristics of inferior immunogenicity and inadequate infiltration of T cells [4], [5], [6].

Angell plot from the potential energy landscape perspective
Abstract Within the scenario of the potential energy landscape (PEL), a thermodynamic model has been developed to uncover the physics behind the Angell plot. In our model, by separating the barrier distribution in PELs into a Gaussian-like and a power-law form, we obtain a general relationship between the relaxation time and the temperature.
First-photon imaging with independent depth reconstruction
I. INTRODUCTION The photon imaging technique, which retrieves spatial information of the scene from long distance or under weak illumination, has a wide range of applications from biology analysis and geography exploration to unmanned aerial vehicle autopilots.1–91. M406 SELF-LIMITED COVID-19 INFECTION IN ARTEMIS HYPOMORPHIC SCID: ARE B CELLS DISPENSABLE?
Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2), the etiologic agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), causes variable clinical manifestations, ranging from asymptomatic disease to immune dysregulation and multi-organ failure. The immunologic features of COVID-19 are incompletely understood. From reports of resolved COVID-19 infection in patients with primary antibody deficiency, it has been postulated that B cells may be dispensable for immunologic clearance.
318 Diagnostic Utility of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMRI) in Patients with Myocardial Infarction without Obstructive Coronary Arteries (MINOCA)
The underlying aetiology in patients presenting with myocardial infarction and non-obstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) is varied and has important implications for treatment and prognosis. Cardiac MRI (CMRI) may help clarify the underlying cause in MINOCA. We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic utility of CMRI in this setting.

Long-term hydrolytically stable bond formation for future membrane-based deep ocean microfluidic chemical sensors
Long-term hydrolytically stable bond formation for future membrane-based deep ocean microfluidic chemical sensors Future ocean profiling of dissolved inorganic carbon and other analytes will require miniaturised chemical analysis systems based on sealed gas membranes between two fluid channels. However, for long-term deployment in the deep ocean at high pressure, the ability to seal incompatible materials represents an immense challenge.

A Milroy case with FLT4/VEGFR3 mutation and an unusual skin biopsy
Milroy's disease (MD; MIM# 153100) is a rare autosomal, dominantly inherited condition associated with primary lymphoedema. FLT4 (also known as VEGFR‐3), ‐the only known causative gene of MD is responsible for the majority of MD cases.1 VEGF‐C, a VEGFR‐3 ligand, is required for the sprouting of the first lymphatic vessels from embryonic veins. Mosquito salivary allergen Aed a 3: cloning, comprehensive molecular analysis, and clinical evaluation
The primary nucleotide sequence, deduced amino acid sequence, and IgE-binding sites of Aed a 3 were identified. rAed a 3-selected antibodies recognized a 30-kDa Ae. aegypti saliva protein. rAed a 3 bound IgE in mosquito-allergic volunteers and the binding could be inhibited by the addition of natural mosquito extract dose dependently. Immediate skin test reactions to rAed a 3 correlated significantly with mosquito bite-induced reactions.
