Snail-inspired robotic swarms: a hybrid connector drives collective adaptation in unstructured outdoor environments - Nature Communications
Abstract Terrestrial self-reconfigurable robot swarms offer adaptable solutions for various tasks. However, most existing swarms are limited to controlled indoor settings, and often compromise stability due to their freeform connections. To address these issues, we present a snail robotic swarm system inspired by land snails, tailored for unstructured environments. Our system also employs a two-mode connection mechanism, drawing from the adhesive capabilities of land snails.

Ubiquitin specific peptidase 38 epigenetically regulates KLF transcription factor 5 to augment malignant progression of lung adenocarcinoma - Oncogene
Abstract Protein ubiquitination is a common post-translational modification and a critical mechanism for regulating protein stability. This study aimed to explore the role and potential molecular mechanism of ubiquitin-specific peptidase 38 (USP38) in the progression of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). USP38 expression was significantly higher in patients with LUAD than in their counterparts, and higher USP38 expression was closely associated with a worse prognosis.
A precision medicine approach for HCN1 Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy
Abstract Pathogenic variants in HCN1 causing cation leak result in a severe developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE). Current treatment options for patients with HCN1-DEE are limited and are insufficient to fully address both the seizures and clinical comorbidities of this disorder. Org 34167 is a brain penetrant broad-spectrum HCN channel inhibitor that has completed phase I clinical trials.
Mechanism of ferroptosis in breast cancer and research progress of natural compounds regulating ferroptosis
1 INTRODUCTION Breast cancer poses a significant health threat to women worldwide.
Contact-sliding-separation mode triboelectric nanogenerator
Contact-sliding-separation mode triboelectric nanogenerator Yang Yu, Qi Gao, Xiaosong Zhang, Da Zhao, Xiao Xia, Jianlong Wang, Hengyu Li, Zhong Lin Wang and Tinghai Cheng Abstract Durability is a critical concern for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) since it significantly impacts their output performance and stability. To address this issue, TENGs designed with rolling rod/ball have been developed to reduce surface wear.
Sequencing by avidity enables high accuracy with low reagent consumption - Nature Biotechnology
Solution measurements of nucleotide incorporation Solution measurements of nucleotide kinetics were performed using commercially available dATP-Cy5 (Jena Bioscience, catalog no. NU-1611-CY5-S). DNA substrates for solution kinetic assays were prepared by annealing a 5′FAM-labeled primer oligo (purchased from IDT) and high-performance liquid chromatography-purified (5′-CGAGCCGTCCAACCTACTCA-3′) with a template oligo (5′-ACGACCATGTTGAGTAGGTTGGACGGCTCG-3′).
A standard for normalizing the outputs of triboelectric nanogenerators in various modes
A standard for normalizing the outputs of triboelectric nanogenerators in various modes Da Zhao, Xin Yu, Jianlong Wang, Qi Gao, Zhenjie Wang, Tinghai Cheng and Zhong Lin Wang Abstract A quantitative standard based on the internal equivalent circuit is proposed to evaluate the effects of different factors on the outputs of the triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in various modes.
