1 Introduction Among the recently popular robot-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) techniques, suturing is easier than thoracoscopic or video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) because of the greater freedom of needle movement by the joint, while ligation is somewhat more difficult in our opinion because of the lack of tactile perception. Closure of the bronchial stump sometimes requires suture closure during surgery for lung cancer.

1 Introduction Recent advances in imaging modalities and the widespread adoption of chest computed tomography (CT) screening have contributed to the growing rate of early detection of pure ground-glass opacities (GGOs) and part-solid ground-glass nodules (GGNs). Pure GGOs represent localized nodular areas with increased lung attenuation, whereas part-solid GGNs consist of a combination of ground-glass and solid components [1].
