Hi there! I'm Daisy Carter. I'm attending the University of Alaska Anchorage pursuing a Bachelor's in Journalism and Public Communications with a minor in Creative Writing.

I work as a peer mentor with Alaska Teen Media Institute (ATMI). I've been at ATMI since I was a sophomore in high school and I have learned so much about broadcast journalism through my work there.

The next edition of the Hamburg event is shaping up to be a mighty big one… Reeperbahn Festival - the international new music bonanza based out of Hamburg - has added another batch of names to its 2026 lineup, including Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, breakout rockers Keo, and indie-grunge riser Gretel. Among those already announced for Reeperbahn’s 21st edition were the likes of Bleech 9:3, Lowertown, Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, and local outfit Agatha Is Dead!.

No, but I would love to one day.

I usually just like to run pitches by my advisor or talk to an editor.
