One of the most durable errors in modern political analysis is assuming that alliances imply shared values. History shows the opposite. Movements often cooperate not because they agree on ends, but because they agree on methods. What is commonly called the red-green alliance is best understood as a recurring tactical convergence between revolutionary leftists and religious or civilizational traditionalists. They do not share theology, economics, or moral anthropology.
